NASHVILLE, TENN., USA – January 22, 2023 — The winners of the SongDoor 2022 Int’l. Songwriting Competition have been announced: the Grand Award has been won by Aryn Michelle of Texas for her outstanding song, “America,” which also won the Soft Rock category.
“This was one of our hardest years to pick a winner,” says Tony Zotta, SongDoor president. “For Aryn to win two categories (she also won the Christian award for”Pariah”) amidst this kind of strong competition really says something about her innate talent. “‘America’ is such a relevant, timely song, and with its clever lyrics and amazing
multiple hooks, it was a slam-dunk.”
