Their brilliance more bright than the dawn
In darkness of night they’ve consumed every hill
In starlight they welcome the One
The King, The Prince of Peace
The Baby, The Savior, The Son

The desire of mankind has come”
Picture a poor mother on Christmas Eve
No feast and no fanfare tonight
The gifts for her children are humble and small
but they won’t compare to her lullaby
her joyful song, the anthem of Bethlehem’s love

The desire of mankind has come”
“Glory to God in the highest
and on earth peace among men
with whom He is well pleased”
